Do you have a house horse? Really big dogs deserve really nice kennels, too. Or do you have a narrow doorway that you need to get get a kennel through? Now Kennel and Crate can help!

We can accommodate large dogs such as Anatolian Shepherds, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Cane Corsos, Mastiffs, Great Danes, Great Pyrenees, Newfoundlands and other big ol’ dogs in our specially built kennels that can be assembled on site. Maybe you don’t need a colossal kennel but have a narrow doorway that you need to get the kennel through, like in an RV, camper, or an older house. Whatever the reason, Kennel and Crate can build a kennel with all the style and quality you expect from a Kennel and Crate.

Let’s start with your doorway measurements. Please measure your doorway width and subtract 3.75” to get the maximum interior depth (front to back) for the kennel with a flat back. Will that depth work for your dog? If so, we can do our normal construction and deliver it to you fully assembled and ready to go. However, if that depth won’t work for your dog, we can build the kennel in a different manner and ship it flat and ready for easy and quick assembly in the desired spot.

 With our attention to details in the design and construction, you can assemble the kennel with just 2 tools and a friend to hold things straight. We include an Allen wrench for the bolts but you need a Phillips head screwdriver.

The bottom base of the kennel goes down on your floor. The front of the kennel stands up in a channel and screws it into place (not too tight), then the ends of the kennel stand up on each end, and get screwed into place. Then the top goes on. The top is constructed to lock the structure together. To fit the back, lift the top and angle the back panel into place, lowering the top to secure all the panels. The back is then anchored into place with bolts. Go around to all the screws to tighten them and one last tighten of the bolts and you are done!

Building a kennel so that it can be assembled in this manner really does double the labor that goes into one of our kennels, so this option adds significantly to the cost. But you can be assured that the kennel has all the design and style of our fully assembled kennels.
